Report Check-InWe arrived thinking we would stay one night and ended up staying 3 nights. Josua has a wealth of information to share, stories to tell and is a very generous and kind man welcoming you into his house. The shared bathroom is very clean with hot shower. The rural location makes it quiet but still very convenient to Armenia for shopping.
We found some great coffee a km away on his recommendation and he set up our friends that dropped by with a very good coffee finca tour not far from Pereira.
The fruit is great and you are free to pick some
Definitely recommended.
If you are a motorcycle traveler, this place is a must. Josue has so many great stories and tips to share, we will never forget this place! He was helpful in every way, even took the time to do a little off road-training with us. His garden is a small paradise. There are two dogs and a cat, they will likely become your new friends ;)
Report Check-InWe arrived unannounced and the (very kind) owner, Josue was not home. Gave him a call (he speaks fluently English; number below in reviews or at gate) - 5 minutes later a neighbor opened the gate for us. Found a nice level spot (had to look a bit) with a STUNNING VIEW (see photo). Warm shower, toilet and spot to clean dishes all very clean.
Josue is very passionate about his garden. We are packed now with freshly plugged tangerines and herbs for tea.
We will always associate this spot & view with the smell of night jasmine. Unlimited recommendation.
Report Check-In19,000 pp for camper people. Ok place. Nice owner. Try to park just next to the house to pick up the WiFi signal.
Report Check-Inlovely place with an extremely kind owner. Warm shower, tarps set up to pitch tents under and freshly plucked fruit for breakfast. 15.000 pppn.
Report Check-InThis is a nice, very green and quiet camping site, with more than 200 different plant species. The owner Josue is a very interesting man and has many stories to share from his two motorcycle travels through South America (one of them with a scooter!) and his crossing the Atlantic sailing adventure. He is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese and is really helpful, friendly and will gladly share the knowledge about his fruit trees as well. There are covered spots for tents, one covered spot for a 4x4 or a van. There is enough space for several vehicles, not sure about big rigs so call to verify. Shared bathroom is clean and has hot shower.
We payed 15.000 COP per person + 5.000 COP for the use of wifi for both of us. If you are planning to arrive late call beforehand for a heads up: +57 312 577 8846.
We really enjoyed our stay here.
Great place! The owner has a list of all the plants that you can find in his garden. There is a stove, sink, tables outside that campers can use. The shower is very hot! The WiFi near
owner's house is good. There is a giant swing on the tree - fun for kids! The owner is very friendly!!! 15'000 ppn for us: we are on bicycles. Camping spots are protected with tents.
