Lovely people in a amazing place. You book the campsite only for you so if you are 1,2,3,4 or 6, you are sure to be alone!!! Better to book online or by phone because they love to prepare all the amazing details for you : shampoo, toilet paper, solar lights... We slept 2 nights in the campsite who is directly in the red dunes and saw some wild animals. We recommend this place at 1000%!!!

Everything still just as described in previous comments. Such friendly hosts. Had coffee and a chat before they brought us to the amazing campsite on a dune about 3km from their home. Even baked us a bread and brought it out to us. Brought more wood after the first night and cleaned the fireplace. Will buy some of their meat and sausage before we go tomorrow.

What a wonderful place to stay We just loved it. The owners Marianne and Pieter are such welcoming and helpful hosts. Great location all by yourself on top of a dune (2.7 km away from the farmhouse), a big shady tent with table and benches, kitchen area with water tap (drinking water) and sink, gas cooker, braai area (incl. wood) and even power!
A lovely open air shower (with hot water) and a toilet with a view. All is very clean and well maintained. Lots of lovely details, like solar powered lamps for the way to the toilet, the sitting area and kitchen, soap, shower gel, hand towels in the kitchen and bathroom. We stayed two nights and for sure we are coming back. We can only recommend this place

Wow, this place is amazing. We stayed at the campsite on our own for the whole of lockdown, thanks to the wonderful owners who were very understanding of our situation. Lovely outside shower and loo with a view and great seating and kitchen area. Great views and walks and wildlife around too.

What an awesome place to stay. Let alone the experience to get to the campsite through the dunes.. Lovely couple on site, helping out on whatever you need. Just perfect if your looking for a peaceful place in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. If you’re in the areas, go there and stay for two nights at least ;)

We could not get into contact with the site and drove there on the off chance that we would get place and to see if they still had a running business. We met the owner who was exceptionally helpful and helped us to get further accommodation as his place was full. It is still a going business and needs booking upfront. They have had problems with the telephone company. Thank you Pieter for your help and hospitality. We will stay with you next time.

Camping in the bush camp in the middle of the dunes! Wonderful place under the stars with a kitchen and running water and electricity! The place is run by a lovely couple and established with lots of love! With a braai and wood! Make sure you call them before you arrive so they can set up the camp for you! 150 R per person per night! Everything clean and well prepared
