Latest Check-Ins

The freshly new « no overnight camping » sign is clearly a fake. Official signs in NB are bilingual. It also looks sketchily made (plastic rather than aluminium). This was confirmed by a lady walking up to us at 9:00 pm telling us that there is a no overnight camping sign and that we should leave. She also took a picture of our license plate. We stayed anyway as this is clearly a sweet spot on a federal owned land and we do not fold over intimidation. Please people, clean up after yourself and be respectful to the neighbours.

(Note to those who might be offended by our temerity. No police officer asked us to leave. This land is not that woman propriety. It belong to the public).

no camping allowed as of Aug 2021. great day spot though.

Report Check-In

Big no camping sign, vehicles will be towed. Posted above a red disk, which means no hunting in NB. Sign looks like it's not official, maybe made by locals. does t quote ordinances or by order of whom.

NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING! There’s a big new-looking sign! Great spot to see the view though.

Report Check-In

Parking with overview on bay of Fundy .lighthouse is 75 feet walking down from the parking lot.
I’m here with my 37’ Motorhome so no problem for parking :) ( not recommended if you tow your car with your motorhome)
Stay here for 2 days and nights .
Personally i slept like a baby here. For myself it was a great experience .
For sure it’s a lighthouse for the ship and it been foggy 2 times that you can’t see anything on the bay so when it’s foggy the ship horn every minutes to advise his position and it’s a little bit noisy and can be annoying after while but it’s part of the experience i guess.
Whatever i recommend this place to everyone .
It’s free, clean, good view , you can walk all over the place,
you feel free
And you save money :)
More positive than negative :)

Locals pull up to see the lighthouse or walk the short trail here but are all gone by 9pm. Beautiful view, quiet, no issues. I had the pleasure of witnessing a massive blood moon here. Was breath-taking!

Report Check-In

Was just talking to locals, They are trying to get a 'no camping sign' due to garbage and folks leaving toilet paper down in the bushes and on the trails.

Report Check-In

Nice Place. But, very busy place cars coming and going every 5 or 10min till about 9pm than it wasn't so bad. but still had traffic. Only stayed 1 night to busy for me.

Report Check-In

Overnighted at end of parking area in a class B van. Two other campers, class C and a truck towing a large trailer showed up and stayed here as well. People visiting area til late evening and again in early morning. Weather was fantastic, fairly quiet for sleeping and gorgeous sunrise. Recommended.
Just leave the area clean so we can all enjoy this place again.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place to stay! Great views of the ocean and a cute little lighthouse. Beware of wind - it gets gusty up there at times, and if it’s a foggy night, be prepared to hear the foghorn all night. Not too loud from the parking lot, but wouldn’t recommend if you’re a light sleeper!

Report Check-In

beautiful spot, we stayed one night in our camper van, a few cars drove in and out, otherwise pretty quiet. Gorgeous scenery.

Like other comments, great spot -- one of the better spots you'll find near a town. Rolled in at 5 pm on Canadian Thanksgiving Eve, no other cars. Only three other cars showed up to see the lighthouse and they all left by 6. All quiet the rest of the night. The foghorn went off regularly most of the night but did not bother us inside our rig. Internet spotty to non-existent (AT&T US plan). Parking spot closest to the lighthouse is within 1 degree of level (25' Class C)

was raining and foggy but incredible location anyways! arrived around 5pm and saw several cars but no one stayed longer than 15 minutes. Essentially had the place to our selves. lots of little trails to explore.

Report Check-In

Great views! Small, quaint town. Cell phone service was a bit iffy even with our booster. During the day load after load of tourists coming from St John to look at the light house. At night it was very quiet except for the fog horn which we loved.

Spots like this are a privilege. So many spots are being shut down by the locals because of abuse, litter, human waste etc. Do your part and pack out everything that you brought. And go the next step and if you see some litter, pick it up! Leave the area better than you found it! #leavenotrace

Magnifique spot pour passer la nuit. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion d'entendre le phare.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet spot away from the town. Good spot to grab fish and chips and enjoy the view. There is a great little trail with a lot of lookout spots that goes around the headland for a view over the neighbouring beach - definitely would recommend on a nice day! Enjoy.

Report Check-In

Great view, very calm. Trails offer gorgeous scenery. We were lucky the fog horn stayed quiet!

Report Check-In

Stayed here for ~3 nights. Beautiful place for sunrise. internet reaches but comes and goes. Nice lighthouse, will blow a fog horn but it didnt bother us to sleep.

Report Check-In

Plenty coming and going throughout the day with some teens hanging around smoking in their cars till about 9 but after that it was just the odd car pulling in and not staying long or the odd uturner (which I also think they need to see on a map this road is a dead end and slow down!!) Only space for about 5 cars..I was the only one that stayed the whole night. Beautiful spot even for a pit stop during the day. Fog horn started at 3am and didn’t stop all night so be prepared for that.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a night! The view is truly beautiful, and even though it can be crowed during the day it is quiet at night. There was another van with us, but there was plenty of space for the both of us. The fog horn did go on during the night due to the foggy weather but with earplugs it was fine!

Report Check-In

amazing quiet place in front of the sea. thank you to the person who shared it.

Report Check-In

Very nice place. Unfortunately, someone thought it was appropriate to use the common area for a toilet. Not nice. Other than that, busy with visits but good.

Report Check-In

Peaceful night in a beautiful spot. We weren't alone and quite a few people stopped by for the view.

Super!!!! Beau site pour passer la nuit. Nous avons rencontré une gentille dame. Elle a raconté l’histoire du phare et nous a souhaité un bon séjour au phare.

Report Check-In

Lovely spot to spend the night in a gravel carpark. Nobody was around when we were there. Peaceful other than the fog horn which was active in the early morning but it did not disturb our sleep.

Report Check-In

Nice place to camp for a night; we stayed on the concrete pad. Some car traffic with people checking the place out but very quiet after 9. Beautiful view of the bay! Lighthouse recently painted and brush cleared away. Locals very nice! Check out more of our photos on Instagram #overlandpioneers

Report Check-In

This is a really lovely vantage point. Great spot to watch the tide come in and out. The little Narrows between the rocks in the water and the shore provide some interesting wave action. Sadly, like most parking lot camp areas there’s a bit of garbage tucked into the bushes. Please consider cleaning up a little if you stay here, otherwise it’s a really wonderful spot. Today it is a bit windy, and raining so, definitely be prepared to dress warm if you want to go walk the cliffs. Also, parking lot has some good level areas, and is just a little bit too big for a 32 foot motorhome with a tow vehicle to turn around, but a motorhome of any size should very well fit If you don’t have any limitations to backing up (Like a tow vehicle)!

Report Check-In

Went when it was stormy and it was an incredible view. Foghorn is very active in bad weather. Wear some earplugs or park a ways up the road. Some caves nearby are insane.

Report Check-In

Beautiful view with a lighthouse!
Fog horn is active when foggy...

Report Check-In

Very quiet place just next to the beach and the lighthouse.
Good spot to stay overnight.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night. Nothing but a lovely view. Lots of locals coming and going but no one bothered us.

Report Check-In

a parking lot at the end of the road, gravel and paved spots. you look over the ocean and the lighthouse (which is still working so be aware of eventual use of the foghorn). otherwise nice and quiet.

Report Check-In

Slept here on a bike tour. Good lord is that fog horn loud. Especially at 3am in a rain storm. But barring that it's beautiful!
