Road is open. We paid 444 som for a small campervan. This amount was also on the receipt that we got.

keep your receipt as you really need it 300 km later, we paid 700 soms for a motorhome.

It is possible to weight your car here. We needed it for our transit through China.

We paid 5 dollar / 340 som for our Defender. Locals pay 45 som, but higher price seems to be legit, we even got a receipt. It’s mandatory to have your headlights on in the canyon. Police had a checkpoint and stopped us for driving without lights. We stayed patient and polite and didn’t pay anything.

Checkpoint here to pay for the tunnel/ street. Price for international cars (plates) is higher than for locals but pricelist hangs out there. We paid 10$ (700som) for our bus, car should be 5$.
Also be aware of the corrupt police man just some meters before the toll station, they were obstinately trying to get money out of us.

Update: After 314km you have to show the receip again at a checkpoint!
