Very busy place, lots of van people, they had live band playing in the evening. Lots of place to park also outside the pub car park.

Quaint little camping spot. Suitable for all types, from tents to big rigs. New owners at the pub are exceptionally friendly and keen to attract more campers/vans. Brand new shower and toilet and planning on more level parking to suit vans. Only costs a £5 donation to their chosen local charity. Does get windy, but the views are spectacular, and the food has become much improved since new ownership.

Brilliant view with a proper bar with nice staff! Clean facilities available outside the bar.
If you dont mind camping at a carpark, it doesnt get better than this!

The Tan Hill Inn has a grassy site with a view and welcomes campers for £5 per adult per night. Kids free. Basic toilet facilities available, and pub serves meals and good beer. Can get vehicles on to grass, but can also camp in truck/van in the parking lot. You are away from it all out here, great views, top of the world, can get windy as is high up in the moors...
