Description

Tea and coffee estate. Interesting place to visit. It is possible to take a guided tour (6,000 per person per hour), do tea tasting, enjoy tea and cake, drink cocktails or have lunch. There are also rooms and dinner options (but this is quite expensive!) but an amazing treat.
Note that for all of this you must book in advance, they do not generally allow people to just turn up.

What an amazing place! Stunning estate with incredible views. Staff very friendly and welcoming (but as said before, you must book in advance). We had a delicious afternoon tea - sandwiches, quiche, cakes and scones with cream along with ice tea and as much hot tea as you can drink - we were so full we had to take some of the cake away with us! We then did a guided walk around the plantation which was both fascinating and relaxing. We didn’t stay overnight but wished we had as the rooms looked amazing and not expensive at all for such a luxury stay

we stayed at Huntingdon house as a treat away from camping. It is absolutely stunning and in our view well worth it. $120pppn incl a beautiful luxury room, delicious 3 course dinner and amazing breakfast.
We also did a tea and coffee plantation tour and tea tasting which isn't the cheapest but very interesting (10000 pp tasting and 6000 pp per hour tour). Really beautiful gardens and grounds you can walk around and great food and service.

nice walk through the tea plantations. you can't see the factory .
10000 MWK/pp, a little bit expensive

May be, better to try the tea time at the lodge ?

Great place to do a tea tasting we called ahead and they allowed us to join the toasting. Tastings are at 10.30 and 3.30 the lodge on the plantation is worth a visit, if only for an iced coffee or tea.
