Just before the museum (at the cemetery) coming from San Antonio de los Cobres, you can go up the mountain (5 minutes by car or motorcycle) to visit the old Pre-Columbian site. It's a hidden pearl and the view is spectacular.

Report Check-InRuins of the settlement of Tastil (pre-incan). A short self-guided walk (500 m) conduces you through this beautiful archeological site. There is not a lot of information but some signs. There is a ranger and the site is open from 09:00 to 17:00 every day. Nice view to the valley and surrounding mountains too.
