I camped here for a couple of days. Nobody bothered me. No shade, no nothing... but quiet at night and free.
Alternatively you can camp at the Brasserie de la Mer for free as well. Night guard, more shade, toilet and shower. Ask owner Pascal. Although he didn’t say anything, it’s kind of requested to eat in the restaurant in return I guess. Pizzas are not great as everybody says, but the menu of the day is good (starter + main 6000 CFA. With desert 8000 CFA). Drinks 1500 CFA.

We also stayed at the Brasserie. You have privacy and it feels much safer. It’s a nice spot. We camped there 3 nights and ate pizza twice. Pizzas the second time we’re nicer somehow - seemed like a thinner base. We think the secret it not having loads of toppings!! Great cocktails! The waiter called Patrick is really lovely.
Report Check-InWe slept at « brasserie de la mer » parking, a very kind French owner, we had a good night.
Report Check-InChoose the place on the parking place of Pascals Brasserie de la Mer. Securitywise. Further down the cul the sac road had robbery happened regularly.
