I spent one night here, is an amazing place in the middle of the mountains. I park here with a van and a caravan. There aren't anything only a river where you can teke wather from it.
Report Check-InNice spot by the river, very quiet, wind shelters but as always in local spot a lot of trash.
I wouldn't recommand to drink the water as we saw cows in it, or filter it.
This part of the road is awesome to drive, enjoy !
Great place to stay! Flat area, many firepits. The river is clear and offers you a fresh shower for the end of the day.
If you don't want to drink the water, you can ask for potable water at the vialidad camp which is 100m from the spot.

calm place with a nice scenery. Of course there is the typical trash but still a wonderful place to relax. Locals who came by have been super friendly and stoped for a short conversation.

Report Check-Intake care if there is rain or a thunderstorm, when you camp here. When we camped here, there was a thunderstorm only with little rain in the evening. The rain stopped , but we were talking in our car for hours, as suddenly in the middle of the night, the sound of the small river changed. When we looked at is, there was a flashflood coming. The small river, perhaps 10 cm deep has changed into a huge one, 2 meters deep and almost reaching our car. Fortunately we were awake and could drive out and up to the mirador(see other campsite on ioverlander). But it was really frightening. so take care!
Report Check-InNice and super quiet spot next to the river. There are a lot of places to choose from and trees for shade. Road not visible and unhearable. Sandy. Any car will arrive. Cons: had to collect loads of trash before the place was usable. Some flies bothered us during the breakfast.
