Best free spot in El Remate. Lots of space. Flat. Shade. Next to the beautiful laguna with a free pier. Bathrooms and showers (3Q and 5Q) although they are not opened every day at all times. Locals say it is safe. Recommended!

As I was enjoying the view after a quiet first night Campemento Ecological El Sotz (who have the toilet key) came at 9am and installed a NO CAMPING sign and told me to move on.. So I guess it's not a public parking place
Report Check-InIn rainy season the lake water is high and whole area is flooded. No wild-camp possible here or at most of the other wild-camp spots posted around the lake shore.
Report Check-Inestuvimos una semana en este lugar. Sumamente lindo y tranquilo. Se pude bañar en el agua desde el muelle.
We stayed at this place for a week. Extremely nice and calm. You could bathe in the water from the pier.
