Dispersed camping 1/4 ml just past the regular campsite. Some firerings, tree cover, plenty of space even for an RV (not sure how rough the road gets past initial 1/2 mile)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Round Mountain campgrounds are still closed.
The roads are soft from recent snow melts. Be cautious, I'm in 4x4 with a slide-in camper.
Decent 5G UC TMobile
Great spot. Easy access with Dodge Grand Caravan. No one else here. A few vehicles drove by before sunset.
Great AT & T coverage
Report Check-InGreat wild camping spot. There are dozens of established sites with rock fire pits along the road. A handful of other campers were here on a Monday but still plenty of spots to find privacy, and very quiet. No bathrooms. good cell service on ATT.
Report Check-InEasy access for 2wd 24 foot sprinter. Nice spots with lots of trees. More than 30 sites. Free!! Lots of ATV’s while we were here for one day and night but quiet. Only takes a second to look for spots because it is near the main road.
Report Check-Inpros: beautiful nature! FREE! we came on a Saturday and it was packed! but we found a stot for our selves.

Free. Amazing. Wild camping. Bring everything and pack it all out.
Gorgeous. Keep it that way, practice Leave No Trace!
Accessible with 2WD for a little way. Several spots to camp before the terrain becomes impassible by 2WD.
