This is a beautiful place on the beach that is free. You can drive on the beach heading west and camp anywhere. It’s on loose rock. And I usually drive down about 1/4-1/2 mile. 4wd is needed. There are really big tides here so make sure you park as high as possible. Usually plenty of driftwood for fires. Can be a little traffic zooming by. It’s the only free beach camping in Homer as far as I know.

This place was awesome! Gorgeous panorama. Several bunches of locals/tourists on the beach through the day but very few stayed and if you go far enough down the beach it’s very private. 10/10
Report Check-InGood day use spot. Posted no camping. There isn't much free camping in Homer from what we could see. We ended up paying the $25 to camp at the city campground on the spit.
