Sites 1-12 are first come first serve and fit big RVs, sites 47-51 are tent only first come first serve. Gets quite busy though we took second to last tent spot at 3pm

Nice and quiet Banff campground. FCFS was all full but found a ranger who let us know which reservable sites were still available and we grabbed one.

I like this place. Note sites 47-51 are walk in tenting but easy to miss.

can I just say, wow, nicest pit toilets ever! if you're here, you've seen a million pics of majestic mountains and glacier lakes, so specific to rampart creek campground, nice job on these bathrooms. and I was so upset that I missed seeing Montebello because of covid when I was in Montreal. so here's a pic of the tiny log cabin facilities in rampart. oh. and the campsites are gorgeous too. pullthroughs!!!

Very very busy weekend every thing was full! When we arrived at this campground the none reserved site were full but for the reserved site (with a red permanent tag) you have to look the booking list at the entrance, if there is no name for some site number it’s available so you can take that site and pay at entrance. We were lucky there was 2 left at 19h30.

Rustic campground. Sites 1-11 are first come/first served, the rest are reservation only. $15.70 Canadian/night. Covered kitchen area but no running water or dishwashing station.

Campground open but several areas still closed. The areas that were open were full. Most other campgrounds in the park are closed this time of the year. Poor show with so many RV’s around!
