Latest Check-Ins

Day use area has a water spigot at the parking lot. Also restrooms with running water.

Report Check-In

Nice state park off I-84 with a day use area near the park entry and another day use area located through and past the campground, across the railroad tracks and much closer to the river. In the A loop, on the north side of the park, most, but not all, campsites are partial hook-up, 30 and 20 amp power and water. None of the campsites have sewer. There is NO dump station at this campground in spite of the presence of normal RV power and water hookups. Very inconvenient! The campground has flush toilets and good bathroom facilities. Shower facilities are typical for Oregon State Parks, reasonably well maintained with hot water a plenty and sufficient privacy while showering, but the showers get used hard and the camp hosts can only work so hard to keep everything clean. Restrooms have a 70s institutional color scheme with a hint of low security prison architecture elements. During our short stay, every campsite was reserved or occupied. Others have commented about road noise and railroad noise, and the comments are true, however, how much you are bothered by road noise and railroad noise is up to you. I didn't find either noise to be that bothersome and we slept well overnight. We are actually looking forward to returning next year or at least using this as an overnight stop to other camping in Oregon.

Report Check-In

It is just off of I84 and road noise is loud, though between 10pm to 6 am it is bearable. Then there is the train and the screeching wheels and horns the blare every couple of hours all day and night. Will not come back near again.

Great modern campground. Showers here are AWESOME.

...If staying the night bring earplugs! It's right next to a very active railroad; horns and trains blaring all night long about every 30-60 minutes.

Otherwise a great stop
