Great option just south of Lima. Possible to plug in to electrics if Lima greyness is not charging your batteries. Still 30 soles for a van.

Gets busy on the weekend with surfers parking there cars here

Very clean toilettes and showers. 30S for cc and 2 people is a very good price for this place. Very calm and secure.

Very nice and safe place. 30sol parking. Good restaurant. Automobile Club in Lima don’t accept travelers…This place is better

The beachfront is a ghost town in off season, but there’s still security on the Main Street. Hotel looked closed, and their restaurant was definitely closed, but gated parking with nice caretaker still open. Cold water, basically outdoor showers, flush toilets and possibility to plug in if you needed. 30 soles. Quiet, safe feeling spot close to the waves.

Okay spot to spend one night. They charged us 30 soles to camp. We asked if camping would be free if we ate at the restaurant and we got a very clear “no.” Felt very safe though, and the bathrooms are nice. Loud music on a Saturday night but not unbearable.

As described before. Safe parking lot, great toilets and coldish showers. Victor super helpful and the food divine with your feet in the sand. Victor said if we consume at the restaurant the parking would be for free. Friends of ours talked to somebody else and they were charged $30 soles. Maybe just ask. We would have been happy to pay it. Btw, this is where surfers park early in the morning, too, so get ready for some movement from 5.30am.

Awesome spot ! As described below - very secure with gate locked at light and 24 hr guard. They welcome Overlanders. Victor is the gatekeeper and very helpful. Raul is sometimes there and speaks English fluently. We ate at the hotel - excellent pepperoni pizza for 30 soles and the camping was free. Park near the little office and you get power too. Not noisy at night - we were there on Saturday - and lots of restaurants and a tienda close by. Nice sea breeze and sunsets as well...!

Very quiet at night. We consumed at the restaurant and were allowed to stay for free. Dogs allowed. Toilets and showers really nice & clean, even with toilet paper!:) beach very clean and lots of dolphins in the late afternoon. Not crowded on a friday. Recommended.

When we arrived around 7pm we weren’t able to drive to the hotel due to closed roads. When we walked there to have a look, the parking lot seemed empty and closed and nobody was there. :(

A great place to spend a night or few. Very nice and clean toilets and showers(cold). Right on the surf break. The area seems very safe but a few car breaks in have happened so even the locals pay to park here when surfing.

Great option going south after Lima with not a whole host of options available. We pulled up at 7pm and it was dark so we're grateful when we met the owner. 30 soles to camp or free if you eat at the restaurant (pasta, 35 soles per person). We chose to pay to camp. All was as described before, parking lot is huge so sure you wont have a problem finding space for camping
