Flat concret carpark with pit toilets. Several big motorhomes can fit here. Very few mosquitoes !! And pretty quiet and calm.
Report Check-InGorgeous views, access to trails, picnic table and pit toilets (with no doors?). We were the only people here until 4am when some guys came by and were shooting their A-K from the parking lot for an hour. Otherwise, great spot for a night! Would recommend using the toilets at the Matenuska State Park viewpoint if you can wait!
Report Check-InIf you keep on driving past the toilets on the unmaintained road there's a few turnouts with amazing views. What they're lacking in toilets they make up for in peace and quiet.
Report Check-InAs described, great flat parking lot of the Chickaloon-Knik-Nelchina Trail System, we had a calm night, the hiking was a little bit muddy because the trails were totally ruined by to many ATVs, at our time there both of the pit toilet doors were missing...it was a little bit...different.....but anyway...the landscape and the view are awesome
