Definitely still here and open. $10 self pay. Pit toilets very clean. Warm lake.
Report Check-InHard to beat for free campground camping.
As mentioned this is a really nice place. The lake is great for kayaking and fishing. There are around 10 campsites in the ring by the lake. There are another another 12 sites in the overflow parking just a couple minutes walk to the lake. Both locations have VERY well maintained pit toilets. The Mountain views over the water are great
About 1/2 the sites by the water are long for trailers and longer RV's.
Most of the sites in over flow are longer for larger RV's. Also most the overflow sites are bigger with more space between sites and privacy.

As described, some great sites with big tables, fire rings (with fold down grill plates) and pit toilets.
This spot is amazing. Free camping, facilities but pit toliet. Our spot is on the lake but their are only a few of these. Picked Hickleberries, biked on Forest Service Roads and had a great time!
Report Check-InVery good place
Campgroud gratuit (on peut faire une donation) au bord du lac, excellente place.
Free camping . Road in was good. Stayed at “Lindbergh additional camping” area had it all to ourselves. There is also lake camping at regular Lindbergh campsite. We chose to stay at additional camping to have it all to ourselves. Fire-rings, pit toilet, and lots of firewood in the surrounding area. Was nice and quite. There is a trail to the left of the bathroom that goes down to lake and there is small sand beach.
Report Check-Infor now it's free :-)
on the clipboard is a sign, that they wanna get a fee up to April 2018 of 10$. I ask the water inspector what is now currently. He said me, that the national Forrest service has here an new Boss, and he didn't decide til now what they wanna do. So it's free til now- when the new Boss decide, that you have to pay, then it's 10$ per night, but nobody knows when he decide... maybe 2019....
