An awesome spot. Clean. Nice views. Ran into a few other campers, all mountain bikers. A great spot to camp and ride Spence Mountain. Hats off to the trail planners and builders. Great job. Trails are flowy and the climbs aren’t overwhelming.
Report Check-InAwful swamp full.of Mosquitoes and all sorts of bugs. Road to get in was very ruff and dusty. pretty views but you can certainly get the same along the many logging roads around the area. Once thing is for certain: it is very quiet and isolated, so if you want peace and quiet this.is the place for you. At night I was visited by an Elk, a Cow or a very large hoofed creature. Too dark to see it and didn't want to spook it with a light.
Report Check-InThere’s clearly a campground at the end of the road but because of coronavirus it is marked as day use only. We found a spot to pull off the road. The left side is clearly marked as private property so we found a spot on the right hand side close to the gps coordinates provided. We had breakfast at the camp area and it was gorgeous!

Report Check-InIt’s been almost a year since I originally shared this location and we just camped near here last night. I was disgusted to find garbage and used diapers strewn about. Please, people, use a shovel! Leave your camp cleaner than when you arrived! Finding this camp in such a condition makes me not want to post the cool places we find...🙁
Report Check-InStayed here one night. Awesome spot, several other vans there. One fire pit which we had a fire at. Spotty cell coverage. None with ATT and struggled to find one bar with Verizon. Ground isn't exactly flat at any spot but it isn't bad.
Report Check-InLovely, mostly level wild camp spot with great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Great bird watching! 2 Bar Verizon LTE service. Fire ring, too.
