Locarno beach park | Informal Campsite

Good spot. Stayed here a couple months while working in the area. Left after a “neighbour” came to tell me that he’d been peeking in my windows while I slept. Older gentleman blue eyes, drove a blue Mazda Nova Scotia license plate GDG-194, keep an eye out for him. Otherwise a great place.

It’s just one of the 5ish parking lots. Sign said it close at 10 so we park alongside the road where it’s not « no parking from 11pm to 6am » but we woke up and saw that all the vans from the parkings lots and spots where you’re supposed to leave before 11 where still there. Seems to be a well known spot for vans, I wish I stayed in the parking lot with a better view but didn’t wanted to risk it. Either way, there is plenty of spaces in the area near the beach ! And toilets a bit further. Best spot in Vancouver in my opinion.

il faut bien se garer le long de la route. les petits parkings avec barrières sont fermés la nuit. On a essayé mais fes agents sont venus vers 22h20 pour faire partir toutes les voitures et ils m'ont dit que c'était OK de se garer le long de la route.

This place seems open during the night even if it says "closed 10pm to 6pm"a lot of vans are there so we parked. It is payed from June to September. Beautiful view even with the rain

Just wanted to say that I camped here for nearly two weeks without getting a ticket. parking from 11pm-6am prohibited but had no problems at all. Gets a little noisy but I also camped in the parking lots with gates (open 6am to 10pm but gates don't get closed) with others, also no problems and definitely quieter.

There are restriction signs of “no overnight parking from 11 pm to 6 am” !!

Perfect for a night, toilette close during the night and cold shower along the beach

really nice place. it's right no parking at night but it's ok. if you want go to the second toilet spot you can stay on the house side. we stay 3 night here. toilet, cold shower, sunset... perfect

Stayed 2 nights. clean public bathrooms right next to the road. lots of other people staying overnight in their vans

Nice place for a night on the beach. Be careful many places has a sign, but some directly on the street doesn't have. A local said we are allowed to stay here but should move every night. In case police knock on ur door, just move. Anyway, we had a good night and morning here without problems (6pm -10am). Didn't have any open wifi here btw.

this spot on the street has no signs, and a local long time rv-er pointed it out. there are one or two more spot along this beach stretch he said. I forget where. the Spanish Park/s and most of the street parking is for 6-10pm or 11pm. a Cop or Ranger likely to run the routine and push you out by then. if you choose not to - good luck to you. my new friend got 2 tickets of $100 Canadian each. he said it is not worth it.

Overnight parking not allowed. There appears to be be people parking overnight but it seems to be more of a homeless camp.

Parking not prohibited along the road... no panel ! A local man conseil us. Lot of RVs stationed here for the night :)
Shower and toilet from the Beach are close !
