Description
For explanation, the hacienda omega and stefans place is the same camping place. our entrance to the campsite is on the main street which leads to tarapoto and is marked with a sign camping place.
Unfortunately, our place is only suitable for smaller vehicles and motorcycles. Entrance gate 2.5 meters wide and 3 meters high.
We offer our guests 2.5 Hectar pure nature. 2 hectares with various fruit trees, own small waterfall, natural water pool, large fish pond with fresh fish, possibility for fishing, own restaurant, free shower in Dschugel forest, WC. Our place is right on the main road leading to Tarapoto. It is about 5 minutes drive to tarapoto. On our place you will find free-living monkeys, parrots and other animals.

Directions:
The entrance is on the main road on the outskirts of Tarapoto. It is on the left as you enter Tarapoto from Catatachi, just after the Solgas gas station
Coming from Tarapoto it is on the right, just after the third entrance to Universidad Cesar Vallejo
The entrance gate is painted orange.

Very hospitable place to stay. We spent two nights in our tent for 20 soles. Bathroom, water, shower in the trees. I caught tilapia in the pond for dinner, and combined it with plantains and mangoes from the garden for a nice free dinner. Stephan had lots of wood for us to have a fire. Great wifi by the house, even worked a little down in the camping area. Very kind family, highly recommended to stay here if visiting Tarapoto.
Report Check-InStefan is a very nice host.
His place is also ideal to park vehicle for excursions to Iquitos by boat or plane.
Also great for camping in dry season.
Entrance hight restrictions have been removed. Only a electricity cable to take care when entering.
Good meal "Brathähnchen with Nudelsalat" available on prior order by email or whatsapp.
Cold shower under trees.

Report Check-InWe stayed with stefan and his family for 3 nights but left our car with them for about 2 weeks while we visited the amazonas. We highly recommend this place, everything was super easy and safe. Stefan is also glad to help you with anything you need, if he can. At the right time there is also an abundance of fruit to enjoy!
Report Check-InWe stayed here for two days 20 sol pn for 2 of us. Stefan and his family made us super welcome, cooked us lunch, took us out to the nearest village to buy beer and lent us machetes so we could go chop our own fruit in his back Woods. Nice level spot to camp, out of town, with a fresh water fed pool to cool off in. Loads of moto-taxis whizzing by, which you can take into town ( we paid 6 sol in day and 10 at night). Bit rustic when we visited but they’ve only had the place for 4 months and had a baby in between so working hard to get things straight. Looking to set up a restaurant. Good place to stop on way to Yurimaguas. Look for the orange gate and house.

Report Check-InStefan and his family made us very welcome, Stefan ran us to the local town to get some beers, fed us and allowed us to watch the World Cup. The place is lovely, on the outskirts of Tarapoto (10 S/ motortaxi from town). Stefan has lots of plans and we wish him and his family well in getting everything set up and running. We enjoyed exploring the back of the property, collecting fruit! It’s still a project but they’ve done a lot given they only moved 4 months ago and had a baby 3 months ago! Relaxed, super helpful and very welcoming.
