Just off the main road to/from the border. Numerous spots next to a small stream of the Mtkvari river. Take the road close to the police checkpoint.
Used by locals in the evening but quiet at night.
You can cross the water and stay on the island as well!

Report Check-InQuiet at night. Shepherds come with their herds, an angler brings us freshly caught fish, we give him grapes. Of course, rubbish and building rubble are also deposited here, the river floods it at high tide, the mud turns to humus and on it green again grows: these are the small hills. The surface garbage probably comes from the river flood.
