Huge flat parking place, very quiet, nice to stay a night.

Good place for a night. The parking lot is pretty deserted at night and quiet. No one bothered us. There’s also a big fenced in dog park along the far side which was great to give our dog some off leash exercise.

Off the ferry late (early am) easy drive and lots of room to stop for the night. Lots of campers, vans and vehicles resting for the night.

coming from Pr.Rupert ferry late, 01.00 am, we drove straight to this big parkinglot. one car there, turned out to be police. asked them if we could stay, no problem. he only warned us for black bears who seemed to be more agressive than normal. so we kept the dog on the leash.very quiet night, no noise at all

Handy for an overnight stop in port hardy.
The parking lot was deserted the whole night, we parked against the bushes away from the buildings.

spent the night here, there is a few cars and a few people around until about 11pm and then it's completely quiet for the whole night. was a nice free spot to get internet and chill in the van

Large and quiet parking lot, we parked on the side with the dog wash and off leash area. Far from the road so you don't get road noise, slept well.

Huge and empty. Only one more RV after the ferry arrived. What did this use to be? The size of the lot is not explained by the stores next to it. Anyway, good for a late night "check-in" after arriving with the ferry.
