There are very obvious NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING signs everywhere! We also tried the beach at Boom Camp Trail like 5min further.. No Overnight Camping! such a pitty :( beautiful spots.
Report Check-InYes it's not for overnight anymore. 2-3 km east we saw a black bear crossing the street and moved on.
Report Check-Inwe spent one night there but not on the main parking, we turn right on the track just before the "no overnight" sign
little loop ok with a RV, we parked two RVs side by side
quiet but not an extraordinary place
Great Spot, some locals in the afternoon, it gets quite in the evening, heard no train.
they have a changing room, but no (pit) toilette
Parfait !! Facile d'accès pour tout type de véhicule, emplacement ouvert et une superbe plage juste à côté, où tu es seul au monde. Et un paradis pour les chiens.
Report Check-Inquiet place, 30m to the wild beach, 100m to the public but also small and quiet beach . lots of bugs and mosquitos.
Report Check-InPerfect spot for a night, need a good Bug-Off, lots of Mosquitos and other stuff.
Report Check-InThis place was really nice. Could probably fit up to 8-10 cars/camper vans. Not ideal for truck and trailer. Super buggy in early June. Awesome beach and nice water.
Report Check-InThis place is nice for a night. It's kinda open and there's no toilet, so doing it discretely is hard when there's other people around.
We had one train coming by at 10 pm. You can hear the road a bit, but at night, we mostly heard nature sounds.
The beach is very nice, the locals seem to come here for the beach.
Superbe endroit! Facile d’accès pour VR de toute taille, à deux pas d’une jolie plage de sable, poubelle, tranquillité. J’y ai passé deux nuits sans problème. On entend un peu la circulation de la 17 mais le reste compense amplement.
Report Check-InGood spot, nice little cut-out to park in. No trains went by while we were there.
Report Check-InWas very quiet and wooded. There was a garbage can, which was nice. We did not have to chance to visit the lake, but I'm sure it was beautiful. Would recommend to anyone. Also, phone reception was really good.
Report Check-InVery good place
We have stayed for one night, very quiet except when the train is coming (once in the monday’s night)
Next to the Road
Good spot. The only train going by while we were there was around noon. Surprisingly quiet and lots of space.
Report Check-InNice place near the track. The train only passed at 7pm. There was a lot of camper vans present for a Monday night
Report Check-Instopped just to check it out and have lunch. easy access for our 30' rig and fairly quiet when we stopped. will definitely be back if passing through again.
Report Check-InGreat place to stay for the night. I had no train passing by !
And the beach at 1min walk is really really nice !
Some noise from the highway, but overall quiet spot. Train comes at 7pm and 8am - super loud and close but at least you know when to expect it. Beach is just on the other side of the tracks, large pointy rocks on either side to walk over. Beach has minimal driftwood, no rocks or even pebbles - pure sand. Sand bar goes out really far and water is warm and clear. Waves were small and sounded lovely. Couldn’t hear them from the camp spot though. Really enjoyed this spot and will certainly stay again.
Report Check-InEmplacement super sympa, en autonomie, mais à 50 m d’une superbe plage
Report Check-InBeautiful beach accross the railway, one train at 7 pm and one at 8 am, so it's pretty quiet
Report Check-InOpen space surrounded by trees. Follow the Huron Beach Road signs from the Highway. After 200 metres good maintained gravelroad follow the curve to right and then first track to your right. That track leads to this spot and loops back. Easy access for all rigs. Quiet overnight spot. We stayed for an extra night. Short walking distance to the sandy beach just on the other side of the railway. No train passed by in the weekend, but when one does you will feel it. It's a bit close. Sorry.
