Nice place in the forest. Many spots. Some on the river and some in the woods. There are pit toilets. Some sites have there OWN toilet. You can have a free shower 10 km more up at the campsites

Beautiful spot :) No cell service! We stayed at site #1 (I think) it had a fire pit, outhouse and was overlooking the creek. Super quiet and secluded, plenty of firewood around. We drove all the way down to #12 but the first one seemed like the best fit for our van.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to stay! The first site isn’t for awhile on the gravel road so just keep driving. Not a lot of people this weekend. We stayed in spot #9 and loved it but we did end up walking down to spot #8 in morning and it was the best site we had seen. It was right by the water with a nice fire pit and a 3.1m trail that lead to a lake. Overall, such a gorgeous place to stay this summer and would definitely come back again
Report Check-InStayed here two weeks on and off (with a two week permit). Had no issues. No cell service. Most sites had an outhouse. Was very peaceful. I think I could have stayed here all summer with no problem all though I probably wouldn’t risk it. But nobody came around to check that I had a permit. If you have the time, hike to Sand Lake and keep going to the right and you will see a canoe. Was pretty awesome to take the canoe out on a lake with no one else around. Trailhead is a mile or two from the entrance to Powley Road. Also, you can get water and free showers at Little Sand Point campground, as the showers are on the outside of the campground and I asked the workers there and they said it’s open to the public for free. Thanks for the tip!
Report Check-InRoad is still closed coming from South, looks like it's not opening this season anymore
Report Check-InBest spot is #9, although there are several other sites near this one, so in summer might be crowded. In that case, #12 was a good site.
Report Check-InNice sites. Best site was #9, although there are a few other sites near here so might be crowded in summer. In that case, #12 would be best site
Report Check-InDid not make it to the camp sites. Came in from the south and the road was closed about 6.5 miles before gps location. The bridge was out, not sure of conditions past there.
Report Check-InFantastic place! We turned right and only the first campingspot at the right was available(7pm) but it was awesome! We were able to drive our car towards the picnictable and fire pit and had a small lake next to us.
Gorgeous place with alot of privacy, pitched our tent and had a gorgeous campfire in the evening and morning.
10/10 recommend.
Report Check-InLots of really good spots. Flat. Some are grouped together, others off by themselves. Almost all have pit toilets. Lots of hikes in the area. Road is dirt but well maintained. FREE
Report Check-InQuite a few sites. Some on the road, some set back and pretty private. All sites have a pit toilet and fire pits, some also have picnic tables. I spent a night at site 5. Site 6 was good except someone before had left 3 big bags of garbage just sitting there. I was traveling by motorcycle and the road can be a bit tricky in a few places with road tires...but just go slow. Completey FREE
Report Check-InSeveral really nice spots dispersed along this street. GPS marks camp no. 12 (offered by State Forest / carry in - carry out rules apply): a sunny grassy patch surrounded by woods, a fire ring and a clean pit toilet near by. Driving south or north, you‘ll find different spots (all numbered through/ approx. next 6 km along this road).
Report Check-InNice place in the forest. Manny spots Some on the river and Some in the woods. There are pit toilets, Some sites have there OWN toilet. You can have a free shower 10 km more up at the campsites
