This is a full service photography and print shop. They can print high quality color graphics, stickers, passport photos and license plates. They made these on a hard plastic for us. 4 for $25.00usd. Check out the photos, you can barely tell the difference. They look perfect!

The company left this location during the pandemic and now operate from their house., some distance away - I've marked the location separately. They're now at Residencial Lomas de Curridabat, Curridabat.
They need advance notice to make up the plates for cost-efficiency reasons, and were unable·to do mine on the same day. Call +506 8375 4873 or email [email protected] - I spoke to Miguel's wife, who seemed super friendly (and had excellent English, if required)
Report Check-InMiguel (the owner) at Blackall is definitely the guy to talk to if you need plates or driver's license copies made (or changed). He is a meticulous scanner and the copies look great! He speaks English and completely understands why those of us traveling long-term need these types of things. Do not hesitate to stop here and speak with him- great guy and so helpful!
