Dry camping is 40$ now. What a pity, it is just a gravel area

Report Check-In

City owned campground. $40 per night for electricity and water. Amazing view of the harbor and every site had a vacancy between it and the next occupied site due to Covid so we had respectable privacy.

Report Check-In

Beautiful view of the Resurrection Bay. Flat parking some spots have full utility hookups. Lots of people visiting weekend.

We payed 5$ for the night dry because it’s winter.
Nice campground with portapotties.
Really nice view.
Stayed for one night.

very nice place, there is good spot in front of the waterfront, with table and fire pit. It's 10$ for a RV dry spot. 2$ for 10min shower. you can find potable water or shower even if you don't sleep here.

the view of the fjord is stunning, we see a lot of northern light

Report Check-In

A barely glorified gravel parking lot that stretches along most of the harbor front from the old town to the small boat tourist area. Location, location. Some sites are flat, some not. Specific areas just for tents, which is nice. The volume of toilet blocks are dismal, but are flushies. Also porta-potties here and there. One shower building, but had a sign that there was no hot water. The only good thing about this CG is the water views from some sites and being able to walk to town attractions.

$20 dry RV camping. Make sure you are on a dry pitch as if you park on a pitch with electricity etc you will have to pay for it ($40). Pick up a leaflet from the small box at the entrance to find which pitches are which. Gets busy especially around the 4 July celebrations & Mt Marathon race. First come first served except for certain dates when certain pitches are booked (see noticeboard). There are a couple of showers for $2 per 10 mins (get tokens with dollar bills from machine at shower/toilet block). Also portaloos. Great views. About 1/2 mile into town. Library/Museum has free fast WiFi.
