Something not right?

Description

At the western end of the bridge there are pullouts on both sides of the highway and also beneath the bridge. Tracks also lead away from the cleared areas and there are open spaces in the forest that will take big rigs such as the one marked here which is far enough away that traffic noise is insignificant.

Latest Check-Ins

Nice spot next to the river. Bridge is a bit loud during the day especially when the semis drive over. Lots of wasps feasting on the dead bugs off my vans front end. A bit visible from the road but I parked right behind a tree next to a fire pit so no problem!

Report Check-In

As described by others, but be forewarned, if you venture north on the overgrown road it is nearly washed out in two places. Failure of the roadway in either of these places would likely have tragic consequences, as it is straight down some 30-40 feet at those points.

Report Check-In

Traveling North/West, looked like a pulloff on the left before the bridge to get under, after the bridge on the left is a large gravel lot off but next to the highway, and after the bridge on the right was a steep-ish rocky road leading down to the river next to the bridge with a lot of room and a trail leading to a small clearing in the woods and a few more trails leading away from that probably only for a proper 4x4.

You're pretty visible on the North/West side of the bridge unless you tuck into the small clearing in the trees.

No signal with booster and mosquitoes were really bad in the area relative to elsewhere.

Report Check-In

Hidden pull off in the woods with plenty of room for campers and small RVs.

Nice spot by the river. Quiet at night. Stone fire ring where we stayed. Looks like there are three driveways down to the river. Watched northern lights from the bridge.

Report Check-In

at day time a bit more noisy because of the Bridge, at night no traffic, nice place at the river, to much mosquitos and other insects

Report Check-In

Stayed at this place two times - and saw on both days in late noon a bear crossing the river and a bison grassed, and in the evening a beaver and a red fox 🙂 Enjoy this place and keep clean

Report Check-In

Great place to stay for a night, there is a lot of firewood around. We saw a blackbear, while we're there.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night. Right by the river next to the bridge. Spots further out the road are a bit muddy and the road narrows.
The big spot next to the bridge has plenty of space for a big vehicle and is easily accessible.
