visitor parking of alamut castle (of the assassins), where the little hike to the castle starts. there is shady spots where you can park on gravel park lot. few dogs around but other than that quiet. public toilets are well looked after. alternatively the owner of the golestan hotel next to the parking offered to camp in their yard, big old trees and big garden. also good to pitch a tent I assume. the hotel itself is pretty run down but the yard is beautiful.
