Several RV and tent sites along CR 7 between mike markers 6- 9 on the dirt road that leads to Blue Lakes TH. There is a primitive hut available , reservations required. You will also find few nice tent sites (not RV accessible) along the creek at the end of the road in the first parking lot. Lots of day hikers on the Blue Lakes Trail. Creek is a source of water with an appropriate filtering device.

Best place to sleep the night before the hike to the blue lakes. Lots and lots of sites. The river is cold and make a great white noise to sleep. Get there before 8pm especially on the weekend.
Report Check-InVery busy on a Tuesday. The road from the highway is long, rocky, and rough in parts but doable in 2WD. Saw plenty of low-clearance sedans at the trailhead parking though. The lot was full as were most other sites, the area is very popular with day-hikers and backpackers. We car camped near the end of CR 7, just north of the hut.
Report Check-InGreat spot for a wonderful hike! Gets very busy though so come in the middle of the day before your hike! We parked .3 miles away from the trailhead which was very manageable :) quiet and dark spot at night.
Report Check-InMultiple drive-in dispersed camping sites for vehicles. High clearance needed but not necessarily 4x4. Some sites don’t require high clearance. Road turns left just before the parking area for Blue Ridge Lake trailhead parking. Fire rings already established. Tree coverage for some sites. Paths to pit toilet and down to river. River about 60 feet away from most sites. Quiet and peaceful and slightly off of main road to trailhead. Probably about 5 sites total. No internet (Verizon).
