like described... one of the best spots you can stay in Senegal. everything clean, working and maintained. A bit pricey but in my opinion ok for what you getting. just two points I didn't like. we had to pay extra for using the pool (the lady told us when we were paying). And the spot to camp is on the parking. everything morning cars come and go... not nice if you like to sleep. maybe Eric will find better spot for the future. But the wildlife is fantastic!

A “must know “ ! Warm welcome by Carine and Éric who bought and renovated the camp last year. Very clean place and excellent food. Clean swimming pool, stands to observe hippos, monkeys and a lot of birds.
The prices are moderate and the service is excellent. I sure recommend the place.
Patrick.

This is a lodge for hunting tourism from France with a strange audience.

We were warmly welcomed by Karine and Eric. We were in the clean, cool pool, had a great meal and drank some cool beer. The location on the Gambia River is beautiful with a view from the restaurant of the wildlife, such as hippos, monkey gangs, antelopes and many, many birds. We enjoyed the hospitality for a week and found the prices very moderate. An absolute recommendation to stay!

Very nice, big and extremely clean camp. It has a swimming pool and spectacular views of the Gambia River. The cabins are perfect. With electricity and air conditioning, European shower and toilet. You can also camp. They gave us a cabin to shower and go to the toilet. IT IS CLOSED FROM 06/21/2023 TO 10/13/2023.

Nice welcome by the new owner couple, they speak englisch and french, Camp is open again, large places in shadow, for big cars too, direct on the river, restaurant and pool working in European standard, we paid 5000 CFA for camping in our car and 2 people per night, including hot shower and toilet in a nearly new bungalow, use of the nice pool is 1000 CFA extra per day , a place to stay!

Report Check-In

we did not stayed at this place for 2 reasons. the price for camping is 4000cfa pp, so for us 8000cfa for 1 night, thats not really cheap. and we did not felt welcoming, the 2 girls who welcomed us where not really helpfull. we slept at an other campground in mako for 3500cfa and they where much more friendly.

Very nice camping! Beautiful spot. It is possible to enter with a big truck, we are 3,80 high! Just look after the trees! We payed 4000 CFA p.p. Pool is extra, i think it is 3500 CFA per Day, but the pool was not so clean to pay this price! They offer very good food! A lot of Monkeys there!

This really isn't a campground, it's a cluster of individual rooms scattered among the trees around a dining room/ bar. "Camping" is just wherever you fit among the rooms or in the road. At 8.5m long and 2.3 meters wide we had to sqeeze to negotiate the narrow winding road through the camp. There's no electricity and we weren't offered bathrooms. That said, it's an absolutely beautiful place along the banks of a large river, with monkeys playing in the tree lined bank. The grounds are immaculately kept with winding rock lined paths, and a nice swimming pool. It felt like a piece of Africa heaven and we wished we had more time to spend there. We paid 6000 CFA for the night and 10,000 CFA each for a very delicious 3 course meal.
