A very, very nice place, a magnificent garden with lot of birds, and a vue on the Kavango.
We’ll come back, sure !

Lovely camp sites, some on the river (sand) and some set back (grass). Electricity and braai on sites. Lovely ablutions with hot water (donkey). Beautiful lodge, restaurant, grounds and pool. All well maintained. WiFi @ the lodge. NAD210/p/p/n. (My fav out of 5 in that area)

Report Check-In

Great camping spot,friendly staff.hippos upstream.nice swimming pool.

Report Check-In

Very little has changed since we camped here nearly 8 years ago. Campsites 2,3,7 & 8 near the river are good for hippo spotting and sunsets though 3 is a little shadeless.

Wifi is patchy and weak but everything else is running and fine.

N$210 pp for camping.

Report Check-In

We were charged $190 NAD pppn for camping in May 2023.

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite indeed. Nicely laid out and very tidy and clean. We were recommended this site by Jim French, and it certainly was a superb site. We were in pitch number 4, which was a huge plot with shade if you want it and close to the ablutions (superb), power, a light, water and braai stand. Excellent bar, with Wi-Fi (which is slow when everyone logs on!), sun deck on the river (beautiful views) and excellent breakfast and dinner if you want a break from cooking. Drinkable water available from the bar. Lovely pool. Make a point of saying hello to Cameron, who will explain where to see game in the nearby national parks. Nundu also have very posh chalets on the river front if you want to treat yourself. Hippos in the river too! All-in-all a superb place to spend a couple of days.

We absolutely loved this place! We had such a warm welcome from the owner en had a beautiful spot at the lake. The swimmingpool was very nice, felt like a piece of paradise. Toilets and showers were very clean. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and it was very good! Highly recommend.

Report Check-In

The price is now N$190 p/p.
Hot showers. The servicing of the ablution and braaistands at the campsites were neglected. (rectified after we mentioned it to management)
Nice big campsites.

Report Check-In

very nice professional run lodge and camping area - 4 places with river view and hippos in front!
150 N$ pP - fair price

Lovely campsite and lodge on the Kavango river. 4 sites have river views and 5 have grass and little to no view.

Covid Price is over ! 150pppn and children pay half price !

Report Check-In

This is a must stay place. We stayed at Nunda for four nights. We paid 100ppn (kids 50) on a special. You can visit the Bwabwata National park very easily from here. The lodge has an awesome pool, great ablutions, a restaurant and bar (beer on tap), boat rides, grassy sites and a very friendly host (Cameron).

Report Check-In

Superb as usual. Empty due to COVID. Paid 100NAD pppn. Management very friendly. Hippos at night but not on the sites. All in all a great place!

Report Check-In

Fantastic as usual! Empty due to COVID. Management very friendly. Let us use the toilet/shower next to Camp as the donkey at ablutions is not on for the lack of guests. Superb place!!!

Report Check-In

Wunderschöne top-gepflegte Anlage, schöne Campingplätze, Bootstouren und Verpflegung möglich! Dinner superb!

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite with good ablutions and a nice green garden with a lot of birds. The swimming pool was very welcome with the heat! Beautiful view over the river from the terrace. Not all sites have rivier view and it was difficult to find a spot with a lot of shade.
We had 3 course dinner in the restaurant, nothing special but the kudu steak was really good and soft!
Camping is now 100$N, p.p.p.n. because of Corona and dinner is 220$N p.p.
They also do boat trips and game drives I to the NP close by.

Report Check-In

Still as all said before. Nice and quit spot on the river. Very well looked after.

Report Check-In

Excellent camping spots right on the Okavango River, with Hippos serenading you through the night! Great bar & restaurant area with deck looking over river, great for sundowners! Restaurant does set breakfast or dinner menus (we did not try so cannot comment on food). Service is excellent from when you are greeted at the gate by the guard, to the owner & his dogs greeting us at reception with a very warm welcome! Bathrooms are superbly done & clean. We had campsite 8 which looks like it's the biggest on the river, has power, Braai, bin, tap, light. Pool area is great for the kids, pool very clean. They create a bill for you when you arrive, so everything can get charged to your bill, and you pay before leaving. N170pppn (kids free!).

Report Check-In

We were not expecting much, bit loved it so much, we stayed two nights.
it is a beautiful spot. Very green, great pool and dining area. Food looked awesome (we didn't eat there).
Staff is nice and campsites are great.
We've had a Hippo just next to our Tent during night.
Saw lots of Hippos during the river cruise (small group of four people only), 280 ND.
Highly recommended.
Camp 200 Dollar per Person and night

Report Check-In

Very nice place with perfect ablutions. There is electricity, water tap and braai stand at each site. Not much shade. Some by the river. Price is 150 NAD ppn. Terraza by restaurant and bar is very good place to relax and have a drink. Internet average. Very close to Mahango Game Reserve (Full of wildlife!) and to Bwabwata Buffalo Game Reserve (another great spot!).

Report Check-In

A reliable stopover. We last stayed here 6 years ago, it is still exactly the same - very good. The food in the restaurant isnt cheap as it's a set 3 courses.
Be aware that the water here is river water - we've seen several people drinking from the taps.

Report Check-In

Lovely place at the river. Nice pool.
Price April 2019 NAD 150 pp.

Report Check-In

Great campsite! Really nice ablutions with good hot shower. 2,3,7,8 pitches have riverview. Price is now N$150.

Nice place. Price - value is still very good here. You get a professional run camp with all facilities, restaurant/ bar with big sun deck with river view and a nice shady pool. Price is 130 NAD pppn. Highly recommendable.

Report Check-In

Our second time at this beautiful place. Still one of the best and cleanest places we had in our whole Africa trip. Sites 2+3 and 7+8 have river view. Try to get 7 or 8, they are the biggest.
We had also lunch in the restaurant. Was Ok, nothing special.
We highly recommend this place!

Report Check-In

nice campsite with shadow. no all the pitch are next to the river. swimming pool, restaurant and beautiful deck on the river. we paid 130 NAD per person. same price for kids

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot - with a wonderful owner - basically helped plan our entire trip - camp 2,3 has views of the river where you can hear the hippos all night. Braai backs available and absolutely brilliant stop over after the strip

Report Check-In

All as stated below. Very nice place. We saw and heard the hippo’s from our camping spot. We paid NAD130 pppn and went on the two hour sunset river cruise for NAD 260 pp which was quite expensive but very nice. Wifi sucks but who cares.

Report Check-In

All as described already. A real gem of a place. Lodge, restaurant, bar, deck overlooking the river, pool and camp facilities all tastefully done and immaculately kept. Staff were all very professional and friendly. Our pitch was spacious and private, although I think the river view ones might be a little less so. We ate at the restaurant and the food was OK, but really nothing special. I believe camping here offers the best value for money in this area at N$130 pppn.

Report Check-In

This time we stay here only one night. There is space for a truckcamper. The ablution are originally and clean with hot shower, dishwashing- and clotheswashingplace, a really nice pool, a terrace over the Okavango and a good restaurant.

Report Check-In

Everything as stated below. Very friendly, super clean and beautiful spots. Price is now 130 pppn.

Report Check-In

Great location, all spotlessly clean and tidy, and welcoming, professional staff and owners. At N$125 pppn camping it is also by regional standards exceptional value for money! Pool, bar, restaurant, electricity on sites, river trips, slightly dodgy wifi. Highly recommended.

Report Check-In

Lovely and very friendly employees! We arrived quite late, without a reservation and they went out of their way to help us.

Beautiful, clean campingsite in a great environment with a good atmosphere and good security. Sounds of hippos in the night.

All as stated below.
Up until now we are not dissapointed at all by Namibian campingsites!
We paid nam$250,- for 2 people 1 car.

Wow , what an awesome place! We got #8 campsite, right on the river and we could see and hear hippos. Clean and well designed ablutions. Quiet and peaceful with spacious campsites. Pets welcome (despite the sign at the gate). 125N$ pppn. Firewood 15N$ for a small bundle. They also sell meat and ice. We didn't check out the bar/restaurant but it was lovely, perched over the river.

Report Check-In

Awesome place to camp. Nicest bathrooms in Namibia!! Clean, 2ply toilet paper, lots of hot water twice a day delivered by donkey. 😀
Friendly staff and excelent food too. And we got lucky with a camp next to the river.

Report Check-In

Really worth a visit! Super friendly staff, boat trip is very nice and ablutions are one of the best we've seen. Mahango Game Reserve is close and worth a visit. Paid 125pppn

Report Check-In

everything top! good restaurant and fantastic view on to the river.

Report Check-In

Beautiful, value for money lodge with adjacent camping sites nestled alongside the Okavango River. Bar, restaurant, river-view verandas and pool at the main lodge as well en-suite chalets. Individual camping sites comprising braai stand, dustbin, electrical hookup and (non-potable) stand pipes. Plots 2 & 3 are directly alongside the river, are generally sun-blasted for much of the day, have crocodile warnings, but a fabulous view. Wifi is free but slow. The lodge also offers trips, mokoro rides and other activities. Breakfasts and dinner have to be pre-booked. Camping rate N$120 pppn. Most currencies and cards accepted (except US$ and €uros curiously). The ablutions are fab, albeit not up to coping with a full site - the showers are a considerate combination of shower, dry dressing area and sink with mirror. Space wise, an overland truck and passengers were accommodated while we were there but the access routes may be a little tight for lorries. Overlanders aside, this is a quiet and relaxed little site - highly recommended.
