we stayed here one night on this trip, but we had already done it on previous trips, without any inconvenience. It's a bit noisy.

Report Check-InIt looks like this southern end of the big dirt lot is now closed off, no cars were parked there at all. We camped nearer to the bomberos, and parked by the fruit stands in the day. We were still super paranoid though (North Chile does that to you) and took the usual precautions when leaving the van - extra locks and curtains etc
Report Check-InNoisy, but close to the main square. It was safe. If you find a place under one of the few trees you will find around, it'd be much better than this car park!
Report Check-InWe stayed here for a night but I was difficult in the morning for us! The nearby bathrooms didn't open until after 9am on Sunday. But it was quiet enough at night.
Report Check-InGrateful for this place, after smashing out the end of the Laguna route and crossing over from bolivia. Safe, comfortable and much warmer than the -10c we had overnight in Bolivia's 4600masl! San Pedro seems like a fun little tourist town.
Report Check-InNot really quiet in the beginning of the night (lot of buses), but so cool to meet other overlanders (we were 6 vehicles !)
Report Check-InStated here for 3 nights. Plenty of people doing the same thing, so no problem at all to camp in your car. Bathrooms nearby are OK, but only open till roughly 7pm

Report Check-InUsefull, near city center, really calm. Showers at 5 min (under the blue tank). Always some campers to talk to.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for about one and a half week and had an awesome time here. Free, and every facility you need in walking distance. Makes life chilled!
