Description

Serpent Rivery Territory, permission from tribal elders needed to stay here. Beach very hard to find and inaccessible, just for 4x4, the track is vegetated closed, but we do it with a Sprinter. Lonely, quiet, small, gravel and sand beach, water not very cold in the edge, the best of which we have known

Latest Check-Ins

We just tried to stay at this gorgeous site. But unfortunately, it’s impossible to find someone from the Band Council on Saturday for permission. If you happen to be here on Monday-Friday during office hours, go to 195 Village Road East, and ask permission BEFORE you go down the 4x4 road. It will take you 15-30 minutes to get to the beach and the road is pretty challenging especially on wet days.

It is very beautiful though.

This is Territory Land for the Serpent River, You require permission to use the site from a tribe elder. there is a sign posted. and also only 4x4 accessible.

Willow.sharp What makes you say that?
I feel whenever I see these comments it is a local trying to detour ppl from coming to the location. Specific details on why it is closed would be helpful....

Wonderful, quiet and lonely beach with beautiful view. We stayed two nights. Entrance really hard to find - it is right behind the last house to the right. Only feasible for 4x4, road is bumpy and overgrown with low hanging branches.

4wd a plus, especially if road is wet. Otherwise, just ruts and one slightly steep hill close to the water. Entrance 200m west of where map shows.

Really great spot, but sometimes it is really hard to get there. 4x4 is essential!! We Go there with a VW t4, but there was no rain the last days. Mayby it is not possible after it was raining.

Nice Spot! Directly at the lake.
Access only with 4x4 or Offroad Motorbike.
Space for tent is not so easy but possible. Some ducks life here so lock where you place the tent.

Has a picknick table.
Watch out for turtles. We watched a turtle laying eggs on the beach. We marked the spot.
Loved the place and stayed for 2 nights.
we spent the evenings in our vans because of mosquitos.

Very hard to find- and only for 4x4 but so beautiful if you love to stay alone - go swimming and see beautiful sunset and sunrise. The way to it was difficult - but worth it. We stayed 2 nights - on our own
