Something not right?

Description

Bridge is destroyed and you need to take a stony detour through the river. Not much water at the moment but 4x4 definitely required.

River was low, I would say 5cm. Apparently yesterday was quite high. Around 50 cm I was told. Bicycles had to be carried across then. There was some rain around that time. But the next morning when we crossed very low water. Crossed around 1130.

Seeing this mark on ioverlander got me excited about an adventurous river crossing that would be both thrilling and a little dangerous. Seeing the little trickle of water made me feel disappointed and cheated a bit. 1 star - would cross again.
The crossing is nothing to worry about, patches of road before and after this are much worse. we crossed with a Volkswagen T4 from 1999.

River crossing was a joke, I think because of the dry season and because we crossed it in the morning. I was able to go on the other side on foot, without getting wet. Check the photo. :)

Easily done in Toyota Yaris at 3pm. Ankle deep. Have heard advice to do before 2pm in bad weather.

Report Check-In

In the morning water is much lower than the afternoon. I could ride my bicycle across!
