Wild camping on a small parking lot. Not visible from the road, very quiet at night. The site is located just a few miles from the ferry which goes to the island of Tierra del Fuego. The ferry crosses the Strait of Magellan several times a day and costs 13,900 chil. Pesos (car incl. all people).
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
As described, a very nice and secluded spot, beautifull sunset with guanacos as company.
No windprotection to speak of.
Still a really calm and quiet wild camp place to spend a night
Report Check-InIt's a quiet nice place, was raining all day. No wind. Nobody was here. If you come from the ferry ultrashort track with gravel. Like the abandoned Oil Derrick.
Report Check-InA nice little spot near an abandoned oil Derrick. Decent wind protection depending on the direction it's blowing. The only visitors we had were an inquisitive herd of guanacos.
Report Check-InVery quiet spot, with some wind protection. Perfect, after arriving in Tierra del Fuego.
Report Check-InNice spot, very convenient when we arrived in TdF off the ferry late at night.
