Huge car park next to a pretty decent off-leash dog area. Quiet overnight but gets busy with park visitors fairly early. Not sure why there is a comment about not being able to park overnight in Vancouver because it’s definitely permitted. Word of warning to solo females though, there is a man who parks here all winter long in a small beige RV. We had to move on the 2nd night we parked here because he wouldn’t leave us alone. Followed us around the park while we were walking our dog, kept knocking at our door trying to talk to us, and said some very inappropriate things. Got a very weird vibe from him and he told us he parks there all winter. Seems very much like a predator and at one point became a little aggressive. If you are women alone and you pull in and see his van (it has a massive grate on front - he is a large man with a black lab) I would advise leaving and parking on the street location nearby.

Safe place, no frills parking lot. Out of the way and very quiet. Felt safe. 5 of us parked here tonight. Had no issues. No signs saying no parking.

Queen Elizabeth Park would be the correct name for this location. Parkings along the road or at the top. We stayed 3 nights. 20-25 minutes from downtown. Better go there by bus. But don’t miss to visit the free garden, the Boedel Conservatory 6.75$/ pers. with all free birds inside dôme or play golf all this by foot. Marvelous place !

Report Check-In

Great place to overnight park. No signs indicating that it’s prohibited. Washrooms open until 10pm, great picnic areas and the previous 2 nights we stayed there were at least 10 other vehicles. 20min walk to Main Street with great food and coffee

Report Check-In

We stayed 2 nights and was just perfect! Busy during the day, quite calm and dark at night. A couple of pic-nic tables. Washrooms are really close to the parking (open until 10pm). You can enjoy the Queen Elizabeth Park, which is just around the corner (and other washrooms). The nearest metro station is only 15 min by foot. 5 stars!

Arrived late evening , great spot with plenty of other campers . Toilets close and rubbish bins

Report Check-In

Great, quiet spot! There were about 8 other campers sleeping here as well, and no one bothered any of us. Public bathrooms right around the corner and the botanical garden is beautiful! Way more private and discreet than the Ontario st parking. Also it’s cute to watch the dogs in the park across from the lot! Awesome spot
