Hells Canyon | Wild Camping

We were there with the bikes. The plateau was OK for one night, but there is no shade. Nicer is the spot down at the stream at the beginning of the canyon. Therefore you have to take the right path at the little house. But you have to go done the dirty road 80 hm. There is a nice place with trees. Maybe not good for big cars, but for bikes and motorbikes. In the end of summer the stream was dry. Triking water is available at the main road

amazing views. when you get to the little house, take the left dirt road and carry on left until you get to a little plateau with amazing views. entrance to the canyon is further down. when we were there they had slacklife festival for the weekend

Beautiful place and canyon. We pitched our tent at the "parking spot" at the end of the road leading to the canyon. There is as well spots for a tent next to the river. Drinking water fountain is right up at the main road.

Quiet place near the Hells Canyon rock climbing spot. Cool climbing and hiking around. If you go down to the stream there is a good place to chill and even make a fire. However, the street down to the stream gets really muddy if there is rain!
