Latest Check-Ins

I was staying there for one night, quiet and peaceful spot.

Little hint: the pains au chocolat at the bakery in Beaulieu (just around the corner of the church), they are huge and the best ones ever eaten.

Report Check-In

We stayed near to the picnic spot recommended by Track World Travel. Nice little spot by the river, only a couple of people around in the afternoon and then nobody from about 5pm until we left at 9 the next morning. Bit of noise from the road/trains but otherwise very peaceful.

Report Check-In

Great spots. Thanks guys. When you leave the 926 at this spot and follow the gravel road towards the cooling towers (keep the river at your left) you will find after 2 km. a nice open picknick spot with tables, dustbin and nice river view. Because it's quite open you will not be bothered by "hook-up" activities. We enjoyed a quiet and peacefull night. Easy access for all rigs. No height restriction here.

Report Check-In

The western bank is hiegtt restricted so we crossed the river and found a nice place to park near the river. There were picnic tables and plenty of flat ground. Be advised that the north eastern bank of the river seems to be a male hook up spot and was quite busy after working hours but quieted down at sunset

Report Check-In

On both sides of the bridge are extended parking areas. On this side for shure are many options a few hundred meters along the river to hide a bit from the road and park or camp.
U can also go on one of the sandbenches for a swim
