Got there late without a reservation and found it be be very full. However they have horse only sites that open up after 7pm on Friday so we were able to get one of the first come first serve sites. $13 a night, self registration. Sites were really nice, pit toilets, fire pits, no showers. No water anywhere either. Good bike trails nearby.

Camping is free with a Discover Pass. Limited to 7 nights. Good cell service with ATT. Probably 25% occupied starting day after Memorial Day. C loop is relatively secluded
Report Check-InAll campgrounds in Capitol Forest closed November 1 to April 30. Lots of logging in the area. Do dispersed camping allowed according to the Capitol first website. Did stay one night on one of the back roads with no issue (no signs posted). Saw some fire pits and another Sprinter.
