Something not right?

Description

perfect boondock site, right in the corner of the road and a little bit up. It is a flat area, also perfect for big rigs. no facilities but the view is stunning! also very much privacy because the road is about 10-15 meters away. We stayed with a 4WD with rooftop tent from Nomad America. Also, it can be a bit windy at night.

Good place to sleep close to town if you’re looking to go to and from activities. Cool nights and quiet all night. A few trucks and motorbikes coming and going

All day people are stopping at the mirador right above you, so not an ideal place to stay for the day if you like a bit of privacy.

Beware: exercise extreme caution when entering and exiting. It is right after a sharp curve on a steep road.

A few hummingbirds around as well.

Secluded spot, but only somewhat sheltered from the wild winds of Monteverde. We camped in a rooftop tent and were blown hard through the night. Would be ideal for a small-medium RV, or possibly a ground tent. Views across the bay are absolutely stunning.

Pleasant location, there is a little traffic but at night it is quiet. It is cool and it is close to Monteverde. The view from the road or the viewpoint is nice.

Very cool free spot for the night. Windy but can’t complain as it was fresh air. Felt safe as there’s no circulation at night. Some people came to the viewpoint few meters uphill. Very nice view.

a nice place, we went here with our 4x4 incl rooftop tent. bit windy, but you can see the Pacific and the Cloud Forest. If you walk 1 minute uphill, there's a nice viewing point for sunset.

Awesome place! Flat grassy spot in the corner of a curve but few meters away from the street and secluded. Awesome views, especially at sunset, no facilities, felt safe, Kolbi cell service (but not too good). Yes it might get windy in the night but if you don't have a rooftop tent its no problem.

Nice spot to visit Monteverde, you are alone and secluded, road not busy at night. It was windy as fu... we we’re not sure if our rooftop tents would hold up, but it did ;). Be sure to allign the strong side short with the wind, otherwise it will probably break. You will also not get a lot of sleep if it is windy, it will be very loud! You can place your vehicle on more or less flat grass.

Absolutely gorgeous view though!!! And two very romantic benches with stunning view one turn up the road! Go there for breakfast or sundowner!

Wow!! Very nice spot, a bit close to the road but the view makes up for it!!!

Unfortunately it was WAY to windy to camp out there so we had to pack up the rooftoptent again. A normal windproof tent would probably have made it (but you cant really see the view from a low tent).

Indeed is a beautiful view and it’s flat. Not sure about be suitable for big rigs, it is right in de corner of a very sharp curve and super steep.
Do not stay here if it’s windy, we couldn’t sleep because of this.
