Absolutely stunning campground with hot showers with no time limit. The view was incredible and the price was about $40 for a non powered site. If you want the view it’s about $60. Very difficult gravel road but worth it!
Report Check-InWe started driving west towards the Pacific Rim Reserve but our camper could only got 15/20km on the gravel roads so we had to give in. Stopped here for a night. We arrived at 4:30pm but the office was closed so we left a voicemail and parked by the beach and paid in the morning.
The showers are brilliant and clean (hot and free? Yes, please!) and there are loads of potable water points and two dump sites. The marina end has a lot of long-timers and residents but the ‘creek’ and ‘beach’ side is very nice.
There was a fire ban when we went and this is way before proper fire season so I imagine it will be all the way through to September. You can hire a propane fire pit from the office if you desire.
