apparently not allowed to camp in the national park any more. used to be 500som per tent, maybe you can get a permit somewhere, not at the entrance gate though.. lakeview. some tables. nice in the evening when the crowds have left.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
very nice in the evening when all the people have left. the family living there is very nice and would have let us camp here but at 10pm the ranger came and chased us away. no chance arguing, doesn't speak English, not very friendly.. you can try your luck, apparently they don't check every day but be prepared to leave..
Report Check-InBeautiful surroundings, camping with car only in the parking lot. In the daytime you're not alone, many local tourists. At night everybody leaves. We had a huge thunderstorm at night which left the terrain quite muddy. Not an idyllic place to camp as we had expected😊. Two people +campercar 900 som. Btw swimming is prohibited, but people do.
Report Check-InThis is actually where we camped. Saw car being chased off the small lake by rangers on horseback in the early morning.
Report Check-Inonly place where it is allowed to camp in the national park. 500som per tent, (not per night). lakeview. some tables.
