You sleep in an all-around secured parking lot a bit away from the hotel. We were allowed to use the showers and pool at the hotel. Price is still 5000CLP per adult person. Good place to spend the night in the city.

Still 5000 pppn. Sure, the parking lot is just that, but it is secure. You get a gate opener, and you can come and go as you please at any time. Restaurants, several supermarkets, and many other stores within walking distance. Also frequent and affordable taxi and bus service to La Serena.
One may use the hotel’s courtyard and pool. We used the staff bathrooms and showers at the hotel courtyard; very clean and good and hot. On summer evenings, the parking lot actually can be a good gathering place for overlanders, because it is protected from wind, and once in the shade, maintains some warmth into the later evening.

Perfect place to stay, still 5000 p.p. and you can use all the facilities of the hotel.

they are building showers and toilets at the parkinglot right now. They also want to install wifi there... But right now for a parkinglot "prison" 5000 Clp pp is to much. They are thinking about raising the price to 8000pp at some point. Wifi at the hotel worked good for us, pool was nice. And with the person gone which was interested to make it a nice place for overlanders the question is how long they are continuing it.

The parking is in the block up from the hotel. They will give you a key remote for the gate. Price us now 5000CLP pp and 1500 for electricity. Pricey for what you get. Potable water and a dump station in parking lot. There are designated bathrooms back the in hotel for overlanders with hot showers so not that convenient . They offer laundry service at 8000CLP per kilo! could take 1-2 days. Pool is open Tuesday to Sunday and is included. The wifi crapped out quite a bit at the hotel and it's a different network than what sporadically reached the parking lot and they did not give us that password. We stayed at Alfa Aldea the night before and it's the same price but includes power, wifi which worked better and at the site, bathrooms are close and quieter but it is farther to town. In our opinion, a better option.

Parking from and 100 m of hotel. Good solution for motorhomes (only). You can use toilet, hot shower and swimming pool in hotel. WiFi even at the parking space. Camera surveillance. Ok value for money. 4000 peso's pp. Electricity possible for 1500 peso's.
