Description

Free camping in developed area between MT135 and the river. About 10-12 spots, most along the river. Fire rings and pit toilets. Can stay up to 16 days. More camping further south on 135 a bit also. There are freight trains across the river, which can be a bit loud at times.

Beautiful, quiet no cell service so we took the time to talk and play cards… this is what I wanted out of van life!😁😁😁

Stayed here 2 nights. Gorgeous relaxing site. A few other campers in other spots. Quiet except for the occasional train that goes by across the lake. Established fire pits and pit toilets.

Stopped at this beautiful place and decided not to stay because there is no Verizon signal. Very private. Gorgeous views. Close to busy road and train tracks.

Great stop over location. We found a spot on the river even with many weekend rv campers. Probably at least a dozen campers there.

Free, pit toilet, firering, river to swim, shade. Very noisy train. Lot of large spaces.

Arrived at around 8 PM on a Friday evening. Many of the spaces (especially by the river at the end of the loop) were occupied. Ended up pulling into a quiet spot at the beginning near the entrance. Beautiful location and, in spite of the high occupancy, quiet and private. A very short walk down to the river brought us to an easy access to the water. Wasn't really much bothered by the occasional train passing on the far side of the river. Highly recommend.

wonderful view of the river. some freeway noise, but not to bad. Only 4 other people here right now, and it's a friday evening in summer, so that's nice.

Report Check-In

Lots of big camp sites, long enough to pull right through so it was easy for us with a truck and trailer. The river wasn’t really accessible, you climb down the overgrown embankment and find more long grass etc, no real beach area. No phone signal, no mobile data.

Just add described. The campsites have been kept pretty tidy with a pit toilet down the road
