Rocky opening on the side of the road at the top of the hill. Beautiful views. Minimal traffic (2 cars in 2days) private alternative to Midnight Dome. Couple of dilapidated diy fire rings. 2 bars of cell coverage.

There is a poor gravel road to climb at a steep incline for 3km. We were fed up after 2km and stopped after the tower guard’s house. It put way too much strain on the engine. We have an extended Ford Transit High Roof. We should have stayed at midnight dome. Oh well. We don’t recommend this spot if you have anything our size or bigger.
Report Check-InStayed twice over the last week or so, on the way to and back from Tuk. Great spot on the right about 3k after the road stops being maintained, but before the fire look out. Large pull out would fit several rigs. Road is fine. Plenty of hikers and mtn bikers passing by but very quiet at night. No others camping when we were there. Had an amazing view of the Northern Lights at 1.30 am. Also had a great dinner at the noodle place in town - very good!
Report Check-InNo sign camping prohibited. We stood right next to the hut for the fire watchers at the viewing platform. Pit toilet.
Report Check-InThe road up here is not easy, very steep with sharp stones. Some big puddles. Uneven gravel not ideal for tent camping.
Report Check-InVery nice view from the hill. Lots of wind, so no Moskitos. Very fine place to stay close to Dawson City.
Report Check-Ingreat spot with no mosquitos and amazing views. nice to have some cellphone reception too.
however the road to get there is very uneven and rocky with a steep gradiant, wouldn't recommend for 2WD campers
to hard for a heavy camper van . I had to go back all the way down on rear...
Report Check-InMy favorite spot I’ve camped at in the Yukon - nice and windy which meant NO MOSQUITOS!
Also, had solid cell phone service which was great.
This camp spot might be on another app as well, had two people drive by and then turn around after seeing it occupied, but the road does continue on so I’m sure there’s some spots further on.
