Toilets and pool availables, pupuseria and restaurant, access to the pristine beach. ideal location for lancha and crocodiles tours, turtles conservation and liberation. Doña Rosita, the owner, is actively involved in the local women community association (Associaccion de Mujeres Ambas) and is your sweet and best contact there. Awesome place and people, facilities access for 5$ per night only. Best place on la Barra! Highly recommended! :-)

We spoke to a girl at this location who then called the owner. It was a little tricky to find. The girl led us to restaurant Vanessa across the street and that is where we stayed, in a very dusty parking lot with no water or electricity. It wasn’t obvious how to use the toilet. We got water from across the lot to fill it. The pupusas were cheap and yummy (75 cents each!) and Vanessa’s mom was very sweet. We enjoyed swimming at the beach, plus the boats are colorful and there are families playing soccer together in the evenings, so the atmosphere is sweet. We did feel safe but it wasn’t rave-worthy.
Report Check-InThe people of this village are super friendly Saoul is an exceptional host he has another land on the beach where we sleep for 10 $ us per night near restaurants this place is very quiet and very very safe
Report Check-InWhen we arrived they said 10 USD. We accepted. The next morning they demanded 20 USD. We only paid 10.
Report Check-InThere was no water in the pool. The whole site and the surroundig was full with garbage. Cocks were crowing since 2 a.m.
Report Check-InI asked to camp there and I was shown around the place, but was never asked to pay anything. Not sure if this is because I am a solo woman. When they saw me eating standing up, they brought me a chair, but I do have chairs, I just rather eat standing as I spend too much time sitting while driving. This just goes to show how nice they are! Since I did not pay, I did not use any of their facilities. Beautiful sunset on the beach!
