Update Feb 3rd, 2019: no vehicle camping permitted.
We camped in the parking lot in front of the hostel with a view of the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Very clean bathroom with hot shower. Free WIFI. The train station for a tour to Machu Picchu is only a five minute walk away.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

No bugs when we were here :). Cute and friendly place with lots of lovely flowers and a friendly puppy. WiFi gets better when the folks on packaged tours leave. Everything else as advertised: nice shower, hot water on request for coffee, quiet, with great mountain views.
Report Check-InIf you stay here bring a lot of bug repellent! We haven't seen this many mosquitos and gnats since Alaska, especially in the middle of the afternoon. For the same price (40 soles for a matrimonial with shared bathroom/ hot shower) we happily chose to stay at hostel portadas in the center. No bugs, friendly staff, very cute place, and safe garage.
Report Check-Inperfect place for sleeping the night before and after the machu picchu visit. storage vehicule and 200 meters between the train for machu picchu ... waht else ? hot water , personnal restroom clean, good wifi , 40 soles for 4 person.... perfect place ! i have a RV 7,5 meters for information ;)
Report Check-InWe spent two nights in front of the hotel and let our car there while visiting Machu Picchu. Hot shower and clean toilet. Wifi is slow. We payed 20 Soles per people per night.

Report Check-InA bit expensive but good place very closed to the railway station. 5-10 mn walking, it's safe even at 4am to take the first train to machu picchu.
Report Check-InWe were turned away from here. The woman at the front desk seemed really stressed out so maybe we arrived at a bad time. She sent us down the road to a hotel who also turned us away. We ended up having to ground tent camp up the hill.
Report Check-InClean shower with warm Water not hot. Parking next to the Lodge is 25 .... so for 15 s more you get electricity and clean toilet and shower. Better call and reserve. Alpacas tend to spit and in the night they like to rub them on the car 😂. Stayed 2 nights for machu picchu.

Report Check-Inwe stayed for three nights on the parking place. we got a clean room for hot shower, the internet was a bit slow, we could not get electricity. we paid 40 soles p/n. the Lodge is only 400 meters away from the Peru railway station. from here you can go by train to aguas caliente......and then by bus to machu picchu. they can take max two RV's. but they are happy to do it. If your RV is to big,then you can stay down the road on the near by parking place from peru rail.
Report Check-InCamped in the hotel parking lot. Spotless bathroom with hot shower. We paid 30 soles total. It can get a bit buggy, but was fine in the evening.
Report Check-InVery nice! Vans or trucks size only. Room for only 1-2. Hotel rooms are very nice too US$60 a night. Bathroom for camping made me sad to leave. Wifi ok. Camping 40 soles a night.
