very clean. next time I'll bring bikes to get around. it's definitely walkable but bikes would have been nice to explore the park above ground too

Report Check-In

Pretty good for a NPS. Has flush toilets, dump station, water, showers and laundry. Sign says they close for the season on 12/1.

Report Check-In

Typical NPS campground. One nights worth is $25. The camp store has showers for $1.50 for 4 min and 30 secs. It’s a good stay if you’re checking out the caves.

beautiful park that it definitely worth checking out

Report Check-In

Camp store for mammoth cave. Coin op showers and laundry. Free WiFi that reaches out to the parking lot, plus picnic tables so remote work is a possibility. You will likely not have any cell service. (I have att and maybe get one bar sporadically.) Food, drinks and emergency camp supplies available too. Within walking distance of the main visitors center where the WiFi is also available.

Great site. Spot 11 loop b. Quiet, spacious and close to everything. Paid $25 and bathrooms are clean and spacious. Love this place and would stay long if I had more time. Cave tour was great and cost $20. Definitely worth it!

Planned on staying here one night, ended up loving it and the surrounding area so much we stayed for another. Dino land is lit. Many deer around (friendly). Park ranger woke us up past our checkout time but was really cool about it. Would recommend doing a cave tour if possible! Big cave!

site 93, camp host for 3 months.
All sorts are primarive except for two

Report Check-In

Great place to stop for the night, or and extended stay. The campground is $25 a night. The showers and laundry are located near the camp store, so you could totally get away with parking in the lot and showering/doing laundry. They also have portable water fill-up, a gray water dumping area and air for your tires.

Nice campground within the National Park. It’s small, so sites are close to each other, but it was pretty quiet when we were here during the week, most of the campsites were empty. Bathrooms with water spigots were nearby but there are no water or elec hookups at individual sites. If you depend on solar also be aware that all the sites are back in the woods and very shaded, so be prepared if you plan on staying parked for very long. There’s a camp store with snacks, firewood and basic convenience items, a “restaurant”, post office and laundry/shower facilities in addition to the National Park visitors center/gift shop that also has an outdoor grill with ice cream, pretzels, burgers, hot dogs, etc in the summer. Kind of expensive, but it’s there. Also great access to the trail system directly from the campground so if you’re a hiker, you don’t have to leave your vehicle at a trailhead.

Nice wooded campground, mostly empty when we visited on a weekday in april. 6 quarters get you 4 minutes in the shower.

Report Check-In

Very nice and popular camping spot. Clean bathrooms and showers and laundry are available in a different building (which also has a camping store if you forgot any supplies). There are picnic tables and fire pits / grills at each site. Great cell service if you have Verizon. I recommend booking a spot in advance as it is very popular and convenient for visiting the park.

Report Check-In

Great NPS campground convenient to your the cave. Nicely spaced sites in a wooded setting. Flush toilets, picnic tables and camp rings. $25 for a standard non-electric site. Strong cell coverage on Verizon.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet campsite. Peaceful and green. No hookups.

Report Check-In

Didn’t stay in campsite but showers / laundry closed due to covid as of 4/2021 until further notice . Also their firewood is weird

Spent one night here. Nothing to say that hasn't ready been said. Can reserve spots on recreation.gov. We tried to book a tour online, but we ended up calling and they said right now you can only buy tours in person due to limited availability. Tickets go on sale at 9 AM so we got in line at 8 AM and there were already 50+ people in front of us.

Very nice campground, as described below. 20$ a night. Showers (1,50$ for 4,5minutes) were nice and warm, toilets clean, firewood layed on piles to take for free which was a blessing since it froze already in the evening. There was plenty of space on every cave tour (during the week, off season) so we could book the tours on the spot. We enjoyed our stay very much, great place to visit!

Clean campground in a beautiful national park. Everything available, flush toilets, potable water, coin showers and laundry. Easy walk to visitors center and a few scenic trails.

Report Check-In

Great campground with plenty of sites. Show up around 11 am to make sure you get a spot. $20, and they take card. Bathrooms, potable water, pay showers, pay laundry, post office, camp store. Walking distance to the visitor center. Great spot in the woods close to the famous cave.

Report Check-In

Dry camp $20, toilet blocks in camping area are very clean, unfortunately only cold water. Fire pits and plenty of fire wood on the ground to collect. Showers are a separate facility and not run by the campsite they are within an easy walking distance from the camp site, $1.50 for a 4 min shower which apparently last night in the men’s shower there was no water at all after my husband donated on two shower cubicles. Also walking distance to the visitor centre, where you can book your cave tours which we discovered best to book a tour at least 1 week ahead as all the tours where booked out for 5 days when we arrived!

Report Check-In

Nous n'avons pas testé le camping. La station de visage est à l'extérieur et gratuite. Accès aux toilettes et douches payantes (1,50$ les 4 mon, 25c les 30 sec suppl.)

Report Check-In

Can hit the RV dump, showers, and potable water for free if you don't want to pay the $20 to camp

Nice campground though, good trails right from camp. No hookups
