Gravel parking lot by the water with somewhat uneven ground.
The road was surprisingly calm during the night and we had good night's sleep in our 25' RV.
There was a group of three guys camping in a tent also.
No signal (AT&T).
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Beautiful views, one other here tonight. Unfortunately there was a good amount of toilet paper, poop, and garbage. How hard is it to pack it out people? Clean up after yourselves. This is the reason that it's harder and harder to find free or cheap places to park. We cleaned up for a bit the next morning. It was a quiet evening but met a very cranky fisherman the next morning who refused to give us a jump because he hates people camping here (we've been having some battery issues). Luckily there were some friendly guys doing construction on a nearby house who gave us a jump. KEEP YOUR SITE CLEAN, LEAVE IT LIKE YOU FOUND IT OR BETTER.
Report Check-InNice spot, not much traffic at night.
To keep this spot available, please practice LNT leave-no-trace and If you camp near the fire ring, be particularly considerate (quiet) as there is a private residence really close by, just over the fence. Hopefully we can keep this place available for everyone as there are very few free spots to park around here.
Report Check-InNot big rig friendly (sorry!) it's actually more appropriate for sleuthing imho :)
