Latest Check-Ins

You can watch the sunset from Bakers Beach/Marshalls Beach then park here for the night. Then head down to the carpark once it opens in the morning for some breakfast views, toilet also available during the day. We've noticed that the user below has posted the same sentence about being kicked out on multiple locations in the same day (may not be genuine).

Report Check-In

Police kicked us out of this parking. No overnight.

Report Check-In

Police aggressively knocked on our window at 9pm and told us that we couldn't park overnight. We ended up parking on the great highway pulloff.

Report Check-In

Quiet place to sleep. Couple of vans were parked here. We moved to the beach parking lot when they opened the gate in the morning. Great breakfast spot with view on the beach and Golden Gate. We felt safe. Does the job well considering it's in a big city.

Report Check-In

Rolled in after dark, there were two other vans in the pull in spaces. Pretty quiet all night, no disturbances, lots of buses coming by late into the night. This is probably the quietest place in San Francisco.

Report Check-In

We parked the whole day here. We moved in the evening in the road nearby before they close the gate.
Have been asked to move by the Police and a few minutes later by the state park police.
So me moved to Presidio Parking lot for the night and left before 8 am when you have to pay.

Report Check-In

Slept here without problems, plenty of parking spots along Bowley St, the leveled pull in spots are at the end, big rigs need to find something in the first half, parallel parking on a slope here. In the morning you can drive down to the picnic area, which has great views of the bridge, a lovely beach and clean bathrooms. From the wash down station you can fill up water canisters. Leashed dogs are allowed on beach.

Report Check-In

We parked here after watching the sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. The beach parking lot is closed at night but you can still park on the street. Cops came by around 9pm to close the gate to the beach parking lot but they didn’t bother us. Still quite a few cars and busses on the road in the evening but not too busy. Slept very well!
